Connect countries by land
Can you get from Portugal to Vietnam crossing only land borders? Bordlr is a daily puzzle built on exactly that question.
Play today's puzzle — freeThe rules of the chain
You're given two endpoints. Name any region that borders one of them, then keep going — the chain grows from both ends until they meet. Only real land borders count, plus three famous fixed crossings (the Øresund Bridge, the King Fahd Causeway, and the Johor–Singapore Causeway). No ferries and no ocean hops, which is why island nations never appear inside a chain.
Two ways to win
Every solve is scored twice — fewest regions and shortest real-world distance. The two best routes often differ, so chasing both at once is the real challenge. See it in action on featured border paths, or browse the borders atlas.
