Bordlr runs in your browser. Completed daily results and streaks are stored on this browser, not in a Bordlr account. Clearing site data removes them. Results previously saved on HTTP cannot automatically transfer to the HTTPS site.
Private leagues use a nickname you choose, a random private league link, and a random member capability stored on this browser. League members can see nicknames and recent daily or weekly scores. Do not use a nickname you consider private. Leagues are limited to 50 members.
Progress recovery is optional. When enabled, Bordlr creates a random recovery code on your device and uploads your daily and weekly result history. The database stores a one-way hash of the code, not the code itself. Anyone with the recovery code can restore and replace that backup, so keep it private. Core gameplay, friend challenges, image cards and calendar reminders do not require this service.
We use Google Analytics to understand visits, game starts, completions and sharing, challenge outcomes and hint use. Events include game mode, board type, hint number and the number of placed guesses; we do not send your individual guesses, nickname, recovery code, league link or shared text. Google Analytics uses browser identifiers and cookies. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag.
Analytics loads after the page's initial loading work. Playing, navigating and sharing do not wait for it. We honor Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track and the preference below. Preferences apply to this browser; clearing site data resets them. See Google's privacy policy.
Use your browser's tracking protection if JavaScript is disabled.
Google Analytics event retention is set to 14 months. We use the data to improve the game and its guides.
